Who are the one-on-one sessions with?
A Coach-consultant, either Lisa Capaldi or Jim Hicks, or if it’s a project that has more than 30 people, we bring in one or more of our qualified associates. We are all qualified in a number of areas including Executive and Leadership coaching as well as training. In addition, we all have Management and Leadership experience in business.
How do you get buy-in from those who are sceptical?
We can talk you through this and answer any questions you may have. We also have a number of templates that you can use and information about the whole process that helps people come on board.
What does it cost for Coach-Consultancy?
Costs depend on how many Managers or Leaders are put forward. The most cost efficient way of using us is by having at least 3 people taking part and in multiples of 3, over and above that. We work on a daily fee model which is optimised at multiples of 3 as one of us can see 3 people in one day for their sessions.
What flexibility is there if a session needs to be changed by someone at short notice?
We work with one person at your end who coordinates diaries. Once we have mutually agreed on dates and session times, if there is a last minute diary change required for someone, we suggest that they swap with someone else’s session time. That way there is last minute flexibility without incurring a fee. See our standard terms and conditions.
Do you design bespoke 360 Feedback?
Yes, we can design a specific 360 Feedback for your needs. We also have a number of Management and Leadership 360s that are specific to Manager and Leader roles in a number of different private and public sector organisations. These include Insurance, Law, Education, IT and Media.
What if the Manager/Leader doesn’t like the person assigned to work with them one-on-one?
We talk through suitability at the beginning of a project and in the rare event that someone would prefer another Coach-Consultant, they can swap with another person on the programme.
Can we have the Coach-Consultancy sessions at an external venue if we choose to?
Yes, of course. We can arrange this for you at cost, or you can arrange this yourself.
How quickly will new actions be implemented?
Following each one-on-one session.
How long after one-on-one development sessions will results be seen?
In most cases, the impact is immediate and within three sessions.
How much will Coach-Consultancy sessions interfere with day to day work?
It requires less than 90 minutes for each session.
What do you do for Teams?
Anything from helping dysfunctional teams become functional to high performing. Facilitating Strategy and Culture days and Team Building. We have many Psychometrics to help teams understand their dynamics and where their strengths and opportunities lie. We also help you then build on team strengths and opportunities.
Confidentiality between team members?
We are often asked if the same Coach-Consultant can work with members of the same team or a boss/ direct report relationship. The answer is yes and we often have this happen. As sessions remain confidential and are focused on the individual, the Coach-Consultant never discloses anything that is discussed by other members.
Can the same development needs be covered across a whole team?
Yes, although it will be on a one-on-one basis as we don’t do group coaching or group coach-consulting sessions. There maybe an umbrella need for a whole team to become more strategic for example. This would be set out to everyone at the start of a programme and the Coach-consultants will make sure this is covered across sessions.
Do you do fixed Programmes?
Yes, we have new Manager/Leader Coach-Consulting programmes that cover agenda specific development across a series of Coach-Consulting sessions. This is useful when someone has been promoted into a new role and the gaps in their experience/learning may need to be filled, or they may need tactical support at the start of their new appointment..
